What was once the first Pasadena home and design/build project of noted Arts and Craft’s Architect Louis B. Easton, is now a professional office building. The original Easton Home is one of 12 architecturally significant properties located in the South Marengo Historic Business District. In the 1980’s, the City of Pasadena added a business overlay zone to the residential area allowing the two-story Craftsman Bungalow to be redesigned to a business-friendly floor plan
Features include a gracious entry, reception/work area, waiting area with view into wood and glass enclosed conference room, six large offices (three on each floor), two bathrooms (one on each floor), upstairs kitchen and open loft-like work area with six cubicles and room for office equipment, bookcases, and work tables. The use of wood beam ceilings, wainscoting at plate level height unifying the wooden doors and windows, built-in window seating, natural brick fireplace and other Arts and Crafts details blend seamlessly with the preserved original exterior with its spacious front porch and side pergola lined in tumbled granite arroyo stone, and wood. Nine parking spaces are located behind the building which are accessed off Pleasant Street. There is a gentle sloping landscaped walkway from parking lot to front porch.
- Designed by Arts & Craft’s architect Louis B. Easton

- 2,898 sq. ft.
- 9,306 sq. ft. lot
- 6 large offices – 3 on each floor

Paul Barnes is a family man, and the proud father of twin girls, Emma and Ellie. He attributes his personal and career successes to his commitment to integrity, honesty and hard work.
Paul began his career working in construction with his father during high school summers. After just a few years he discovered that he had exceptional talent creating custom art work out of brick. He spent years in Beverly hills crafting unique pieces for clients. This included everything from 3 dimensional brick design to fountains that had optical illusions.
After meeting his wife, Paul joined forces with her to embark upon several entrepreneurial adventures. One of which was building their own home in La Crescenta.
In his spare time, Paul likes to race motorcycles. He has raced professionally in the past, and currently races as a hobby every chance he gets.
Paul has always had a passion for Real Estate. His ambition, combined with his genuine desire to put his clients’ needs first make him a great Realtor®.

From 1932 to 1943, this stunning early California Hacienda-style estate was owned by Herbert Hoover, Jr., son of the 31st president of the United States. President and Mrs. Hoover visited often and the home was known as “The Winter White House.” It was originally built in 1928 by local businessman, Frank Picard.
In 1932, when the Hoovers moved in, they added a children’s wing. Word has it that the playroom (accessed by a slide) was designed by family friend A. A. Milne, the author of “Winnie the Pooh”. This stately property and its colorful link with history reflects the graceful architecture of an earlier era.

Originally from Santa Rosa, CA, Robb Buzzini moved to Southern California in 2002 and eventually settled in Pasadena in 2010. Robb is a third generation REALTOR®. His grandfather was a mortgage broker and real estate broker, and his father is a real estate broker and has owned and operated a property management company for over 30 years.
Robb views Real Estate as a service industry. His goal is to serve the needs of his clients and help them achieve their goals as they relate to their personal residences or investment properties. “Knowing that you are helping someone with possibly the largest financial transaction of their lives is a tremendous responsibility. I try to put myself in my client’s shoes. I think about the level of commitment and protection I would want my realtor to give me, and then I do everything I can to provide that to the families I represent.”
Prior to becoming an agent and joining Podley, Robb worked in the entertainment industry for several years before becoming a stay-at-home dad in 2010. A former sports anchor and reporter in college, he holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. An avid baseball fan he has previously coached at the high school level in both Northern and Southern California. Robb lives in Pasadena with his wife Catherine, their daughter Avery, and son Jack. As a family the Buzzini’s enjoy frequent trips to Disneyland, Legoland and try to visit Hawaii once a year.
